Show off that Money you've got

Show off that Money you've got! Wait, its only 1 Dollar! Today I had a final presentation on Corporate Social Responsibility, coming up with ideas on planning events like this. I came up with planning charity events and a day to interact with children from an orphanage as much as I love to do charity work and give back to society.  This will teach anyone what is more important in life.

To keep up with the theme, I decided to wear a money themed outfit and Im glad I found a way to not make a maxi cardigan look too loud.  I also decided to wear a ring pulls necklace to keep up with the CSR theme (Environmental).

This necklace is from Kultura back in the Philippines for only PHP 599, raising money for a cause. The brand is Crafts for a Cause.

This dollar crop top is from H&M that was only SGD$ 17.90.

I am wearing a maxi cardigan that is also from H&M for only SGD$ 20 on sale.  I got my statement skirt from a store at Bugis Junction for only SGD$ 15 on sale.

This is a new quirky jewelry that was from TOPSHOP at a buy 1 get 1 free promotion. It only costed SGD$ 13.

Respect yourself and think of others!,

It seems like I have a cannibalism trade mark now a days. I love wild cats and Im sure us girls can be totally be as tough as one. Lets roar as women! Its always so fun wearing printed leggings and especially if they are more comfortable. I seriously had to work the whole day so I couldn't be too dressed especially if I need to clean the store in the morning and in the night. Im happy this part time job teaches me responsibility and the value of money.

I also decided to try out a new 90's (Spice Girls) inspired hairstyle today with two side buns as a girl who is proud to be born in the early 90's. It was such a coincidence on that day when I heard the news about Ariana Grande doing the same thing, except it was more Princess Leia style.

This striped jacket is from Forever 21, online that was only USD$ 23.  My cropped tank top is from Forever 21 Philippines that was only PHP 600.

This belt is from BCBG Max Azira that was only SGD$ 45.

Parental Advisory: Look 2

Maybe I am controversial!! Just Kidding! This is one of my most favorite pieces in my closet. This sign is always making outfits look really edgy and stand out more. Plaid is currently the print of Fall/Winter 2014 as seen in many fashion shows and Philippine Fashion Week,  which is an evolvement from last year. To stay in, I shop cheap and if I want more expensive stuff, I make sure that it is something that will  never go out of fashion and can last really long. This is also one way to dress for your fashion career or your stylish everyday wear.

This top is from Market! Market! that was only PHP 480 back when I was still in the Philippines.

My lion pendant is from Factorie that was only SGD$ 3.

This new midi skirt is from Bugis Street that was only SGD$ 15.
I am wearing buckle booties from New Look for only SGD$ 26.

My net socks inside are from H&M for only SGD$ 5.95.

Stay edgy this Fall!!,

Twerk It good

Twerk Twerk Twerk! This has been a popular dance move ever since Miley Cyrus started it. I always thought it was a very fun move to do. Don't be super shy to do it at a club and they remind me of the squat exercises I do at Zumba Toning all the time which is one of my favorite moves. It will make you have a better body with a booty.

This Twerk it tee is from H&M for only SGD$ 14.90.

This skirt is from Push Thru Marketing Inc. back in the Philippines for only PHP 300.

These skull studded booties are from Bugis Street that were only SGD$ 20.

Selfie 2

Selfies are one of the biggest hits on Instagram. Follow Me @monicchic! Ill totally follow you back if you are all nice and not rude.  Here is another church fashion tip on how to look chic and at the same time respectful.  To me being respectful at Church is very important as a practicing Catholic by myself. I will always continue to pray and go to Church every Sunday even when Im already working. I will influence my own children that way in the future.

This look is a 50's inspired in a modernized way. Decades always come back from time to time. Fashion is like a back and forth time machine. These midi skirts has been a really big hit now a days especially here in Singapore and with fashion bloggers. But I decided to style it in my very own way as always, not wearing the same outfits as everyone else.  You can also dress like this going to school since its not a big distraction. This is also one of my back to school fashion tips as I know you all are going back to reality in September.

This Selfie mesh paneled tee is from Bugis Street that was only SGD$ 15.

This fringed clutch is from H&M for only SGD$ 20 on sale.

I am wearing a new chain connected bangle from Forever 21 that was only SGD$ 17.

This floral black and white skirt is from Bugis street that was only SGD$ 20 on sale.  They have one whole wide selection at a good price.
